Queen’s Clash V

General Information

Age of Queens is proud to announce Queen’s Clash V, our fifth edition of the premier 1v1 competition for our all-female Age of Empires community.

The tournament features three divisions.

Gold League, Silver League, and Bronze League with the top 8 players participating in Gold League, the next 8 in Silver and the next 8 in Bronze, with a total of 24 top players signed up.

Elo rankings will determine player seedings, this will be based on the average of their highest and current 1v1 Elo as of the registration deadline.

To participate, players must have a minimum of 30 1v1 games. At least 10 of those games must have been played in 2026. The ideal win rate for players is between 40-60% to ensure their Elo ranking accurately reflects their skill level, though this is not a strict requirement.

The tournament will be hosted on the Age of Queens Community server.

Timeline For All Leagues

Week 1 (March 9-15): Quarterfinals BO3

Week 2 (March 16-22): Semifinals BO5

Week 3 (Saturday, March 28): Finals BO7

• Players unable to play at the scheduled time should immediately contact an admin. While attempts may be made to accommodate the situation, there is no guarantee. Ultimately the burden is on the players to show up on time or face potential admin losses. Please be courteous to everyone by showing up on time.

• Hidden civilisations must be enabled

• All game lobbies must be hosted on public visibility

Game Rules

Restarts

• By default, players have no restarts

• In situations where the maps are bugged players can request a restart.

Bugs include:

o Player-specific herdables or lurables are inaccessible

o Player-controlled starting units are inaccessible

o Player-specific objects fail to generate the intended amount

o More than 50% of the SIDES on gold, stone, or berries are inaccessible

• Regarding Nomad start maps

o If TC’s were randomly built within shooting range the game will be restarted with the same civs

o This doesn’t apply though if a player spots the enemy TC first and then intentionally drops her TC next to it to force a restart – this can result in an Admin Loss for that game

• Any restarts must be called within the first five minutes of in-game time.

• The original replay MUST be submitted

• After a restart, civs and colours must remain the same

• Admins can elect to restart a game as well

Laming

• Players are permitted to do anything that the game allows, including, but not limited to, walling in resources, blocking or killing villagers and killing enemy herdable or wild animals

• Regarding Nomad start maps any type of laming (e.g. villfights, walling in villagers, killing animals that you do not intend to eat) is forbidden in the first 4 minutes
